How is Villa Redondo different from a nursing home?

Villa Redondo is a community for the elderly, 60 years old and above; who are independent or may need assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming and bathing. We encourage our residents to remain as independent as they can, but also offer assistance to their needs, when required. Our staff is trained to provide varying levels of personal care and protective supervision. A nursing home (other types are convalescent home or skilled nursing facility) is for residents who require continuous medical and nursing care. Residents in a nursing home may also receive physical, occupational, and other rehabilitative therapies.
